******

This was a "Just in case you thought Cliff Lee's complete game gave the M's any momentum" game.

One note about this game: Felix's first five innings were TERRIFIC. Felix saved about 1.904 NRuns (2.17 EXERA) through five... and then the wheels flew right off in the 6th: A hit batter, a walk and three line drives in a three run inning for the Rangers. Saunders getting played like a piano on that two out two run double by Elvis Andrus sure didn't help, but it's like Felix just flipped a switch before the top 6th and became a tomato can. Usually the M's watch the bullpen blow games... it's not everyday that a top starter like Felix would come out and blow his own game by himself.

Whether or not it worked yesterday, hitting Milton Bradley 2nd sure didn't work today (-1.280 hitting NRuns), but then again nobody for the M's (save for Franklin Gutierrez, and Rob Johnson of all people) was hitting today. Mike Carp (-1.519), Josh Wilson (-1.296) and Ichiro (-1.317) also had notably bad days at the plate.
