However, in the 9th, Thomas himself put two men on before Eric Hull relieved him, got a flyout, then served up a backbreaking three run homer to Heether, his 2nd of the night after hitting one this entire season prior.
Jeff Clement and Mike Morse got on in the 9th, but Bryan LaHair's strikeout ended the game.
